We are seeking a skilled Geotechnical Engineer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to contribute to landmark projects and collaborate with talented individuals.
The successful candidate will work closely with senior engineers, ensuring tasks are completed to quality and safety standards. They will also assist in preparing geotechnical designs, technical reports, specifications, and engineering drawings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake field and office-based assignments under senior engineer guidance.
- Prepare geotechnical designs, technical reports, and specifications.
- Interpret field and laboratory data to support geotechnical model development and design recommendations.
- Coordinate accurate entry, validation, and management of geotechnical data within project databases.
- Deliver clear, well-structured technical reports and documentation on schedule.
Requirements:
- A relevant degree in Geology, Geoscience, or Civil Engineering.
- At least 2 years' experience in a Geo role, preferably on mining, rail, or infrastructure projects.
- Familiarity with geotechnical data management packages and GIS applications.
- Ability to participate in regular field work.
- Candidates should possess excellent communication skills and be able to work cohesively within a team environment.
