Overview of the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Speech Pathologist to lead our diverse and dynamic team at HealthcareLink. As a key member of our allied health practice, you will be responsible for overseeing the management of our speech pathology services, including the supervision of junior staff and the delivery of high-quality care to clients.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide their team towards achieving exceptional outcomes. You will also have excellent clinical skills, with experience in providing assessments, treatment plans, and interventions to clients with a range of communication disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the speech pathology team, providing guidance and support to junior staff
  • Develop and implement effective policies and procedures to ensure high-quality care is delivered to clients
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to maintain currency and enhance skills
Requirements
  • Certified Practising Member of Speech Pathology Australia
  • Possession of a degree in speech pathology from a recognised tertiary institution
  • Experience working with NDIS participants, able to work with diverse clients
  • Ability to coach and train speech pathology graduates in assessments, report writing and treatment plans
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to set and follow treatment schedules and manage deadlines
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is $115,000 - $135,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including:
