About the Role

This fast-paced and interesting role offers the opportunity to utilise your experience in Defence and contribute positively to the safety and security of all personnel on base. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for providing customer service of the highest quality through your proactive, professional, and sound approach.

Key Responsibilities

  • Observe activities associated with asset protection
  • Monitor CCTV footage and radio communication systems
  • Provide first aid and liaise with Police and Emergency Response Services
  • Review camera footage and write reports
  • Conduct foot patrols throughout the premises

Requirements

  • Certificate II in Security Operations and security licence
  • First Aid and CPR certificate
  • Open driver's license
  • Customer service experience
  • Experience in monitoring a CCTV network
  • Hold or willing to obtain AGSVA security clearance
