Project Lead Electrical Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Lead Electrical Engineer to join our team in a multi-disciplinary environment.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering electrical building services projects, including commercial, retail, education, health care, aged care, hospitality, entertainment, data centres and sports centres.

The role involves designing building services, conducting site inspections, writing technical specifications, attending meetings, responding to RFIs, project management, client liaison, time management and training other team members.

Our client is a boutique multi-disciplinary building services engineering consultancy founded in 1972. They specialize in Mechanical, Electrical, and Fire services, bringing extensive expertise and dedication to their craft.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver electrical building services projects from design to completion
  • Conduct site inspections and report on findings
  • Write technical specifications and attend meetings
  • Respond to RFIs and manage project scope
  • Lead project teams and train other engineers
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • At least 3 years of experience working as an Electrical Engineer in the buildings services engineering sector in Australia
  • Comprehensive knowledge of local building codes and standards
  • Project leadership skills and strong technical abilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Australian Permanent Resident
