Boral's upstream cement business is a key supplier for our downstream businesses and external customers.

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to lead safe electrical and instrumentation maintenance plans, oversee electrical projects, and ensure compliance with our Electrical Engineering Control Plan.

This is a leadership position where you will provide hands-on guidance and support to a large Electrical Trades team.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing electrical and instrumentation equipment to meet safety, production, reliability, and environmental targets
  • Ensuring full and correct functionality of site electrical systems
  • Carrying out electrical engineering tasks to ensure ongoing safety and reliability of electrical systems
  • Developing and implementing upgrades, improvements, and capital works projects
  • Coordinating and supervising electrical contractors to ensure high-quality performance
  • Mentoring and guiding the electrical team to achieve development and performance goals

What we're looking for:

Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering and proven experience as an Electrical Engineer in heavy industry.

Ability to diagnose problems, think outside the box, and deliver alternative outcomes.

Demonstrated knowledge of electrical standards and compliance requirements.

Computer literacy and sound analytical skills.

Ability to develop effective working relationships and lead and influence.
