Electrical Engineering Lecturer Opportunity

UNSW Australia is seeking a highly skilled and motivated academic to join the School of Electrical Engineering and Telecommunications as a Lecturer in a Teaching and Research role.

In this position, you will have the opportunity to develop your own research in the area of Electrical Engineering, as well as teach undergraduate and postgraduate classes. You will be given the chance to conduct classes, design and develop learning activities, and conduct and publish high-quality research as part of a team and/or independently.

This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career academic looking to lay the foundations for their career in academia. The role reports to the Head of School and has no direct reports.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and teach undergraduate and postgraduate classes in Electrical Engineering
  • Conduct and publish high-quality research in Electrical Engineering
  • Design and develop learning activities and assessments
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve research and teaching goals

Requirements

  • PhD in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • Proven commitment to teaching and research excellence
  • Experience in teaching and learning design, development, and delivery
  • Knowledge of educational technologies and online delivery methods
