Housing Support Professional

We are seeking a Housing Support Professional to join our team. This role is critical in providing direct support and assistance to residents, ensuring their needs are met and they feel safe and comfortable in their living environment.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with vulnerable populations, be able to work independently, and demonstrate strong problem-solving skills. They will also be able to communicate effectively with residents, staff, and community partners.

  • Provide individualized support to residents, including counseling, advocacy, and connecting them with community resources.
  • Assist with daily tasks such as meal preparation, laundry, and household chores.
  • Monitor resident safety and well-being, responding to emergencies and incidents as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to maintain a clean and organized living environment.
  • Develop and implement plans to address resident needs and goals, including identifying and accessing community resources.

This is a full-time position, requiring a minimum of one year of recent experience working in a related field. A diploma in a related human/social service field is preferred. The successful candidate will be required to provide proof of certification in first aid, CPR, and non-violent crisis intervention.

The salary for this position is $27.54 to $31.61 per hour, with opportunities for advancement. Our organization offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health and dental coverage, after completion of the probationary period.
