Job Summary

Lithgow City Council is seeking a skilled and dedicated Casual Lifeguard to join their team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising patrons, ensuring safety and care for the community, and maintaining a clean and aesthetically pleasing centre.

  • Maintain supervision of patrons in line with the Royal Life Saving Keep Watch initiative
  • Ensure the centre is well maintained, clean, and aesthetically pleasing
  • Follow the Centre's Operations Manual
  • Implement the Emergency Action Plan and provide first aid when needed
  • Maintain equipment, cleanliness of storage areas, amenities, and set up and pack away equipment
  • Ensure children under 5 are supervised by a guardian at all times

To be successful, you will meet the following criteria:

  • Hold a current Senior First Aid Certificate
  • Hold a current Pool Lifeguard Certificate
  • Hold a current Working with Children Check (if over 18)
  • Be committed to WHS procedures
  • Exhibit integrity and honesty
