Casual Aquatic Supervisor

We are seeking a casual aquatic supervisor to join our team in Lithgow, NSW.

You will be responsible for supervising patrons at the aquatic centre and ensuring a high level of safety and care for the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain constant supervision of patrons in line with Royal Life Saving's Keep Watch at Public Pools initiative
  • Ensure the centre is well maintained, clean, tidy, and aesthetically pleasing
  • Carry out duties according to the Centre's Operations Manual
  • Understand and implement the Emergency Action Plan in emergencies, including providing first aid
  • Maintain equipment, cleanliness of storage areas and amenities, and set up/pack away equipment as needed
  • Ensure children under 5 are always within arms reach of a parent or guardian

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • Current Senior First Aid Certificate
  • Current Pool Lifeguard Certificate
  • Current Working with Children Check (if over 18)
  • Commitment to WHS procedures
  • Commitment to integrity and honesty
Working Conditions

This is a casual position on an as-needed basis.

The Lithgow area covers 4,567 km², including the Capertee and Wolgan Valleys, Little Hartley, Tarana, and Meadow Flat.
