Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Project Planning & Controls Team Lead to lead the proper use of our Earned Value Management (EVM) System. This role will be responsible for monitoring and reporting on project cost, schedule progress and risk status.

This position will lead a team of Project Controllers to perform this function at either program, portfolio or project level. You must maintain the goodwill of our customers and stakeholders by ensuring that our established EVM processes are carried out to report and manage projects with timely and accurate data.

  1. Key Responsibilities: Managing the activities of the project or program Project Controls team to establish the initial cost and schedule baseline.
  2. Providing Expert Assistance: Providing expert assistance in the use of cost and schedule tools (Open Plan / Primavera / Microsoft Project, and Cobra) to manage the project team to use scheduling tools where required.
  3. Managing the Month-End EVM Process: Managing the month-end EVM process of Cost.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Project Planning and Control: Proven experience in project planning and control, including the use of Earned Value Management (EVM) systems.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership skills, including the ability to motivate and guide a team.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
