Senior Project Manager Role

You will play a crucial role in overseeing the successful delivery of major building projects.

  • Lead the coordination and management of building projects using Modern Methods of Construction (MMC).
  • Manage project procurement, ensuring adherence to time, cost, and quality parameters.

Main Responsibilities:

The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for the following tasks:

  1. Project Coordination: Coordinate and manage all aspects of the project lifecycle, from pre-design to post-construction.
  2. Procurement Management: Manage project procurement, ensuring adherence to time, cost, and quality parameters.
  3. Client Liaison: Liaise with clients to ensure project alignment with their requirements.
  4. Team Management: Coordinate and manage external consultants and internal staff involved in project delivery.
  5. Advice Provision: Provide expert advice to clients on procurement and project programming.
  6. Financial Management: Manage project financials and reporting.
  7. Mentorship: Mentor and support a team of Project Managers.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in project management, with a focus on building construction.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage complex projects from initiation to completion.
  • Experience with Modern Methods of Construction (MMC).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong understanding of contract administration and procurement processes.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop team members.
  • Tertiary qualification in construction management or a related field.
  • Experience working on government projects is highly desirable.
  • Commitment to workplace health and safety principles.
