Project Coordinator

The Project Coordinator plays a pivotal role in the management of complex projects, ensuring seamless execution and adherence to regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Manage project activities while maintaining compliance with legislation and procurement policies.
- Develop and update project plans using OPP (Finance/Schedule) and MS Project as necessary.
- Provide operational support to the project team and facilitate administrative and coordination tasks.
- Analyse and track project budgets, cost forecasts, cash flows, and actual expenditures.
- Monitor and report on project performance, identifying variances and proposing corrective actions to maintain baseline commitments.
- Prepare and present progress reports, dashboards, and earned value management data to stakeholders and executive leadership.
- Implement effective risk management practices through risk register management, coordination of risk workshops, and embedding mitigations into cost and schedule.
- Maintain data integrity by coordinating with commercial and finance officers.
This requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and experience with project management tools. In-depth knowledge of financial principles, budgeting processes, and risk management is essential for success in this role.
