**Job Overview**

The role of Maintenance Planning Specialist is crucial in ensuring the successful execution of corrective work orders for specific production fields. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in planned maintenance outages and project management, with strong technical expertise to effectively address site requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Screen incoming CM work orders, identify scope, and analyze the required level of planning.
  • Engage with engineering to update BOMs and Task Lists as needed.
  • Identify specific safety hazards in proposed work and ensure all aspects of the company safety policy are incorporated into job plans.
  • Ensure work order planning quality for field execution, including adding parts, resources, and documentation to execute safely and efficiently.
  • Achieve optimal serviceability of plant and equipment to ensure reliable operation in the most economical and cost-effective manner.
  • Provide input to engineering on the effectiveness and suitability of the RMP/IMP based on maintenance program and corrective maintenance work performed.
  • Maintain the integrity of maintenance plans by developing strong networks with purchasing and supply personnel to ensure timely availability of parts and equipment and facilitate the repair of breakdowns as required.
  • Ensure compliance to Operational Excellence standards and procedures.
  • Drive continuous improvement in existing preventative maintenance strategies and maintain the asset management system, implementing best practices across all assets.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in planned maintenance outages and project management.
  • Strong communication skills encourage collaboration between site and contractor teams during outages and work activities.
  • Effective planning and ability to handle feedback ensure compliance and smooth operations.
  • Experience with maintenance business processes, CMMS knowledge, and a solid understanding of oil and gas processing equipment.
