The Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate Urban Designer with a focus on new communities and urban villages to join our team. You will work closely with clients to deliver innovative, considered, and meaningful place and community outcomes. With several exciting projects underway bolstered by a future pipeline of new communities, mixed-use precincts, and town centre master planning across the state and nationally, our urban design team is growing.
You will work closely with local and national designers, planners, and economists to deliver integrated master plans including place visioning and the master planning of urban villages and subdivisions. With freedom and autonomy to explore great design, you will play a key part in delivering high-quality technical and creative design outputs in the creation of place-based master plans. This involves demonstrating a broad understanding, passion, and emerging skill base in the areas of master planning, urban design, built form, and placemaking.
Your Role
- You will work across a wide range of project types from individual sites, broad-acre green-field developments, urban villages, and town centres;
- Provide a broad range of quality services including site analysis, master planning, concept design, and documentation for approvals;
- Graphic representation of design through illustrative plans and diagrams and 3D modelling and visualisation
About You
- Tertiary qualifications in Urban Design, Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Urban & Regional Planning or a related discipline;
- Relevant experience for the current and emerging projects within Design;
- Minimum 2 years of relative experience relative to the role
