Job Overview:

The Application Developer/Functional Support Specialist plays a key role in providing technical support to staff, maintaining network and system availability, resolving ICT incidents, and contributing to ICT strategic goals and projects.

This position involves supporting and developing MSHC business applications such as CPMS, Medical Director, CASI, DFD, Database management.

Apart from technical responsibilities, this role also includes Business Analyst functions and offers opportunities to engage with the Alfred Health Digital Health Team and perform new applications development and vendor relationship maintenance.

To be successful in this role, you will need recognized industry certifications or relevant work experience. A Bachelor's degree in computer science or software development is required.

Key skills and qualifications include SQL query expertise, proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C++, C#, VB.NET, Delphi, or Python, understanding of software development methodologies, knowledge of web-based application development tools, strong troubleshooting skill set, customer service commitment, ability to work independently, and a good understanding of software development principles.

Responsibilities include resolving complex technical issues, providing technical guidance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. This position requires excellent problem-solving skills, effective communication, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
