We are seeking a highly skilled Application Specialist to join our team.

This role reports into a Practice Manager and involves working on technical components in 3rd party applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, enhance and support application components
  • Enhance application functionality where necessary
  • Respond to alerts raised by application monitoring, investigate and resolve issues
  • FOLLOW ITIL best practice for incident management
  • Proactively identify potential issues before they affect deliverables
  • Analyze data-related issues to determine the best course of action
  • Provide application support for all business applications and interfaces
  • Offer technical assistance to business teams relating to general application queries
  • Be involved in project handovers to ensure a smooth transition to production support
  • Ensure database performance, replication and data backups are operating efficiently

Requirements and Experience:

  • Proficiency in HTML
  • C# (Model-View-Controller or similar pattern, secure Web API, Deployment and packaging)
  • JSON
  • Object-oriented programming concepts
  • Microsoft SQL server 2017 (or later version): TSQL, stored procedures/views, knowledge in database schema, indexing, performance optimisation
  • .NET Core 3.1 or later version (latest is .NET 8.x)
  • Version control
  • Internet Information Services (IIS)
  • Australian Citizenship is mandatory. Current or reinstatable AGSVA NV1 Security clearance, NV2 is preferred.

  • Jira/confluence (Atlassian suite)
