Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Application Specialist to join our organisation in an on-site role working from Laverton.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, enhance and support technical components in 3rd party applications
  • Make enhancements to application components where necessary
  • Respond to alerts raised by application monitoring, investigate and resolve the issue
  • Follow best practice for incident management using ITIL guidelines
  • Proactively check processes to identify potential issues before they affect deliverables
  • Analyse data-related issues to determine how best to resolve application integrity problems
  • Provide application support for all business applications and interfaces
  • Offer technical assistance to business teams related to general application queries affecting their functional areas
  • Be involved in project handovers to ensure a smooth transition to production support
  • Ensure database performance, replication and data backups operate efficiently
Requirements and Experience:
  • Knowledge of HTML
  • C# programming skills (Model-View-Controller or similar pattern, secure Web API, deployment and packaging)
  • Understanding of JSON
  • Familiarity with object-oriented programming concepts
  • Microsoft SQL server 2017 (or later version): TSQL, stored procedures/views, knowledge in database schema, indexing, performance optimisation
  • .NET Core 3.1 or later version (latest is .NET 8.x)
  • Version control
  • Internet Information Services (IIS)

Australian citizenship is mandatory. Current or reinstatable AGSVA NV1 Security clearance, NV2 is preferred.
