About the Role
This experienced engineering technology sales professional will represent Autodesk's Water Infrastructure product line across private sector organizations within an allocated territory.
The role involves business development, territory sales planning, complete opportunity management, collaboration on demand generation and pipeline growth, lead qualification, forecast deals for assigned territory with accuracy, and key account/large account management combined with volume plays.
Responsibilities
- Drive business growth by developing strategic relationships with customers and partners.
- Plan and execute territory sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
- Manage a portfolio of opportunities from prospecting to close.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement demand generation plans.
- Qualify leads and deliver accurate forecasts.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and large clients.
- Leverage partnerships to drive sales growth.
- Utilize sales theory and best practices to succeed in complex sales environments.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience selling engineering software applications.
- Proven track record of success in complex sales involving multiple decision-makers and sales cycles of 3+ months.
- Experience working with marketing teams to guide demand through social media and other means of prospecting.
- Ability to travel domestically up to 50% of the time plus some international travel as applicable.
- Understanding of the Australian water industry and its procurement models.
