As a seasoned financial professional with experience in project accounting, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial aspects of live events across Australia, New Zealand, and Asia. This position involves forecasting, budget management, and financial reporting to stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with tour managers to ensure accurate financial data and timely reporting.
  • Monitor ticket sales, merchandise, and revenue streams to identify opportunities for cost savings and increased ancillary income.
  • Oversee end-to-end financial management, including invoicing, accounts payable/receivable, cash reconciliations, and final settlement reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and contractual obligations, preparing for artist and stakeholder audits as necessary.
  • Provide strategic support through variance analysis, financial reconciliations, and innovative solutions to complex touring challenges.
  • Maintain open communication with stakeholders, delivering transparent reporting and proactive updates on financial performance and issues.

Requirements
  • Previous experience in tour or project accounting, preferably with 5+ years in a finance role within a commercial organization.
  • Intermediate-level Microsoft Excel skills and experience with software packages such as Technology One would be advantageous.
  • Proven ability to present financial information to senior stakeholders and build strong relationships with them.
  • Commercial acumen and ability to prioritize workload items effectively, with confidence, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
