Job Title: Assistant Centre Manager NSW, Cook and Phillip Park Pool

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Assistant Centre Manager to join our team at the NSW, Cook and Phillip Park Pool. As a key member of our Centre's Leadership Team, you will be responsible for leading a cross-functional team and providing exceptional customer service to our swim school members, patrons, and parents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of swim school instructors and support staff to deliver high-quality learn-to-swim programs
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase swim school membership and revenue
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the aquatic facility, including pool maintenance, equipment, and facilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to our members, patrons, and parents, ensuring a positive experience at our facility
  • Collaborate with the Centre Manager to develop and implement business plans to achieve key performance indicators
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies, including WHS and risk management

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a leadership or management role in the leisure or aquatic industry
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality customer service and leading a team to achieve business objectives
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Relevant qualifications, such as a Royal Life Saving Pool Lifeguard Certificate, AUSTSWIM Certificate, or equivalent
