About the Role

As an Administrative Support Officer at Fire and Rescue NSW, you will provide a broad range of administrative support and project-based services to the unit. Your primary responsibility will be to manage incoming enquiries and track correspondence through internal and corporate records management systems, maintaining related database and records systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate administrative tasks, including correspondence, reports, and records.
  • Provide support with financial and budget matters, including coordination of payments and accounts, and preparation of purchase orders.
  • Conduct research and analysis of issues, including assessment of quantitative and qualitative information, and relevant policy and regulatory frameworks, to assist in the delivery of projects and programs.
  • Coordinate administrative systems, databases, and processes to ensure a high-quality and responsive service to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Identify and develop improved administrative systems, implementing approved changes.
  • Provide support in the development, coordination, and implementation of administrative projects and contribute to strategic business and operational plans.
