Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned Food Service Operations Manager to spearhead our team and drive success in the food and beverage sector.

  • Lead the management of restaurant, bar, executive lounge, room service, and mini-bar operations, ensuring exceptional quality and efficiency while delivering a memorable guest experience.
  • Analyse daily operational needs and implement strategies to maintain beverage, labour, product, and expenses within optimal levels.
  • Develop and implement quality standards for all food and beverage outlets, supervising and directing the food and beverage team to achieve outstanding results.
  • Ensure thorough cleaning and maintenance of outlets, work areas, tableware, utensils, and other materials and equipment used by restaurant, bar, room service, and conference areas.
  • Collaborate closely with Executive Chef to guarantee an exceptional guest experience in food and beverage service.
  • Provide critical briefings and ensure all reporting departments are prepared for large groups or events, including front office, housekeeping, and engineering.

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of comparable experience, preferably in the hotel industry.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience and expertise in creating a positive and productive work environment.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Business or Hospitality are highly desirable.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, control payroll expenditure, and drive revenue growth.
  • Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate is essential.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, coupled with excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
