Job Opportunity: Senior Food Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced leader to manage the day-to-day operations of a commercial kitchen stewarding department.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Site cleanliness: Ensure the cleanliness of commercial kitchens according to client requirements.
  • Team leadership: Supervise food service team members during shifts and coordinate the team during events.
  • Safety adherence: Use chemicals and adhere to safety standards, including HACCP, food hygiene, and WHS requirements.
  • Procedural compliance: Follow schedules and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Cleaning tasks: Oversee deep cleaning and ensure all tasks are completed to the highest standards.
  • Administrative duties: Complete rosters and ensure compliance with work-right restrictions.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum 3 years' experience in a leadership role within a commercial kitchen.
  • Leadership: Proven success in leading and developing a high-performing team.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of commercial kitchen equipment, chemical handling, food safety, HACCP, and WHS requirements.
  • Professionalism: Good presentation, grooming, and communication skills, with fluency in English.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work within a team in a fast-paced environment.
