EHS Sustainability Specialist

Join a dynamic team of professionals in the field of Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) as an EHS Business Partner.

This role offers a unique opportunity for growth and development, where you will be responsible for driving the execution of our company's day-to-day EHS Management system.

You will work collaboratively with operators and plant stakeholders to deliver on operational environment, health, and safety priorities, while also contributing to the development of new and existing management systems and processes.

The successful candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, a continuous improvement mindset, and excellent communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage and influence leaders and employees at all levels in understanding and executing EHS responsibilities consistent with Plant expectations.
  • Conduct workplace audits and inspections, encouraging positive health and safety conversations with plant personnel.
  • Maintain site workplace inspection registers, safety leadership activity registers, and records database.
  • Support training needs analyses and provide training on EHS best practices.
  • Advise and support the plant facility to ensure compliance with legislation and pursue best practice in environmental management.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
