EHS Leadership Opportunity
In this pivotal role, you will play a critical part in maintaining and improving the organization's Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) management systems. Your key responsibilities include:
Collaborating with stakeholders at all levels to maintain and deliver the HSE assurance and audit program.
Applying a continuous improvement approach to deliver the HSE assurance and audit program, aligned to strategies, legal requirements, and ISO 45001 and 14001 standards.
Leading improvements to maintain ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 certification across the organization.
Undertaking and leading internal EHS assurance and audit activities.
Preparing and providing reports on the outputs of EHS assurance and audit activities to stakeholders, including senior leadership and customers.
Managing and improving the organization's safety, health, and environmental management systems, including promoting and educating the systems.
Working with the IT Team to provide support in using Cority (Safety Management system), including improvements.
Assisting in incorporating new or changed HSE requirements into management system documents, including research, writing, consultation, and implementation.
Assisting in communicating and reviewing progress of the Safety and Environment strategies.
About You:
You will need to have demonstrated experience in leading an assurance and audit program, including undertaking internal audits. Additionally, you should have experience in management systems, including structuring, using SharePoint, Nintex, and incident management systems. A proven ability to lead incident investigations, write investigation reports, and present root causes and contributory factors is also required. Furthermore, you must be able to collaborate and build effective working relationships, possessing excellent communication skills, both oral and written. The ability to obtain and maintain an AGSVA security clearance at NV1 Level is essential.
