Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced leader to manage our urban landscape team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of horticultural and urban foresters in maintaining and improving our city's green spaces.



About the Role

The ideal candidate will possess significant experience in managing large teams and have a proven track record of delivering quality outcomes in the maintenance of sports fields, open spaces, and gardens.



Key Responsibilities


  • Lead the Horticultural, Urban Forestry, Natural Areas, and Open Spaces teams in providing efficient and effective services.
  • Accountability for preparing and monitoring budgets and project managing maintenance and capital works projects and programs.
  • Investigate, resolve, and recommend innovative and cost-effective solutions to issues, including fleet and equipment utilisation in the Urban Landscape area.


About You

To be successful, you will possess relevant tertiary qualifications and/or extensive experience in the portfolio areas above.
