Overview:

The Customer Marketing team at SC Johnson plays a pivotal role in bridging the gap between sales and brand marketing.

In this position, you will utilize your prior experience in FMCG Customer or Trade Marketing to enhance and expand relationships with key retail partners.

Your goal will be to deliver outstanding category and growth narratives that prioritize shopper engagement on a daily basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and coordinate multiple significant household and retail categories.
  • Take initiative in formulating, developing, and assessing channel strategies, strategic planning, shopper communications, and activations.
  • Craft and present retailer trade narratives to major retail partners, ensuring alignment and optimal return on investment.
  • Identify key channels for activating brand strategies.
  • Collaborate with the category team to pinpoint effective tactics for deployment as part of our MAPP strategy implementation (Merchandising, Assortment, Price, and Promotion).
  • Translate data-driven insights into innovative and actionable plans, along with analytical reviews.
  • Engage collaboratively with Global and Regional teams.

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and relationship management skills.
  • A profound understanding of customer needs, with the ability to develop profitable customer propositions that translate into effective customer plans.
  • A self-driven, motivated approach, thriving as a senior member of the Customer Marketing team.
  • Expertise in commercializing initiatives.
  • A solid grasp of the strategic and tactical aspects of business, including financial and commercial acumen.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive multifunctional commercial experience in Sales, Category, or Brand Management within a Household Care or FMCG environment.
  • Proven experience and comfort in presenting to customers and stakeholders.
  • Experience in budget management, ensuring maximum return on investment aligned with strategic goals.
  • Ability to plan, implement, and evaluate shopper activations to derive insights and share findings internally and with the Global business.
  • Full working rights and compliance with health regulations.
