About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Governance and Customer Trust Advisor to join our team at One Digital and Catch. As a key member of our Privacy and Customer Trust team, you will play a critical role in supporting our ambition to transform the Australian retail and industrial landscape.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a structured, scalable, and sustainable privacy and customer trust framework that can be continuously improved and adapted for rapidly changing customer, business, and regulatory expectations.
  • Provide expert advice to cross-functional teams on privacy-related frameworks, policies, and procedures, including Responsible AI governance frameworks.
  • Support the development and implementation of data governance policies and procedures, including data sharing and consent management processes.
  • Lead privacy impact assessments on a broad range of use cases across all stages of the data lifecycle.
  • Support assessments, audits, and improvements to our privacy and customer trust framework across One Digital.
  • Develop, maintain, and continuously improve privacy and customer trust related policies, processes, and training programs.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field, such as business, law, information systems, or technology.
  • Experience in retail or digital businesses, with a strong understanding of the Australian Privacy Act and OAIC guidance.
  • Strong knowledge and experience with privacy best practices, business, and technology-related issues.
  • Proficiency in digital product design and implementation, with a focus on privacy-by-design.
  • Great written and verbal communication and influencing skills.
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguity and drive practical risk-aware commercial outcomes.
