Job Title: Senior Water Resources Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Water Resources Engineer to join our team in Perth. As a key member of our Operations team, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of challenging projects that will expand your skill base and keep you engaged.

As a Senior Water Resources Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting hydrological and hydraulic investigations and designs for various studies, including rural and urban flood studies, transport and mine infrastructure, floodplain management, water balance modeling, stormwater management, and mine water management.

You will work closely with our clients to deliver successful outcomes and provide technical expertise and support to our engineering and environment team. Your role will involve developing strong relationships with our clients and supporting the delivery of technical models and reports to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct hydrological and hydraulic investigations and designs for various studies
  • Support the delivery of water resources projects nationally
  • Provide technical expertise and support to the engineering and environment team
  • Develop strong relationships with our clients
  • Support the delivery of technical models and reports to a high standard

Requirements:

  • Engineering degree (Civil or Mechanical or Process Engineering) or solid work experience in hydraulic infrastructure design and project coordination
  • Registered as a Member of Engineers Australia and willing to obtain chartership within a reasonable agreed time frame
  • Prior experience providing mentorship or leadership to junior team members
  • Prior experience of the following is advantageous – WSUD, Waterway design, Wetland design, Dams, retarding basins, major drainage assets, stormwater, water treatment
  • Must hold Australian permanent residency or citizenship
