Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Fund Accountant to join our team. As an integral part of our Fund Accounting team, you will support the delivery of daily, weekly and monthly tasks predominantly for our managed investment scheme product portfolio.

  • Prepare oversight models for review of daily unit prices
  • Monitor liquidity positions and prepare daily cashflow and investment trade instructions
  • Prepare and review periodic regulatory reporting, quarterly BAS return lodgements and annual income tax returns
  • Calculate Investment (incl. performance) fees and rebates
  • Review and analyse Custodian fee invoices
  • Review fund distribution calculations and unit registry statements across various asset classes and investment strategies
  • Prepare and review interim and annual financial statements in accordance with established accounting standards

  • 1-2 years experience in a Fund Accounting, Fund Operations or Middle Office Operations role
  • Intermediate Excel Skills with ability to manage spreadsheets and use formulas
  • Relevant Tertiary Qualifications in Accounting or Finance (or working towards)
