Fund Accounting Specialist

This senior role in fund accounting requires a strong experience and knowledge of all aspects of fund accountancy.
The ideal candidate will have a proactive approach to problem-solving, excellent analytical skills, and be able to build strong rapport with peers and act as a trusted adviser to clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure client deliverables align with service agreements
- Liaison with external auditors and service providers
- Prepare annual Financial Statements and periodic management reporting packs
- Manage transaction capture for an entity including accruals, trades, interest, distributions and capital
- Execute onboarding new funds and fund restructures as required
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 3-5 years in Fund Accounting or related accounting role in the financial services industry
- Relevant qualifications in accounting and/or finance (CPA/CA qualified or willingness to study CPA/CA preferred)
- Experience in management and statutory reporting (e.g., Investment Management Report and General-Purpose Financial Statements)
- Knowledge of financial instruments or asset types such as property, loans or private equity
