Job Role Overview

The Fund Administration Team plays a vital role in delivering accurate client service, encompassing unit pricing, fund accounting, reporting, and tax administrative services to Asset Owners and Asset Managers.

They have extensive interactions with various managers and teams within the Operations Division, including Fund Administration colleagues, Investment Administration teams, Custody Operations, and other internal teams.

All services must consider current legislative and regulatory requirements and comply with operational risk guidelines.

The Senior Fund Accountant position is crucial in supporting the Fund Administration team's service delivery and acting as a mentor to the Fund Accountant.

  • Verify and review the work of Fund Accountants who prepare and produce accurate and quality reporting.
  • Generate reports, including regulatory reports, statutory reports, unit pricing reports, accounting reports, tax reports, and resolution of client and interdepartmental issues.

The Senior Fund Accountant also calculates and performs first-level review in relation to Tax Services, including BAS/GST, distributions, taxable income computations, and tax returns on behalf of clients.

  • Mentor and guide junior team members in their roles.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality services.
