About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Accredited Lead Auditor to join our team in Sydney. As a key member of our Assurance team, you will be responsible for conducting external audits against nationally and internationally recognized standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct audits in a timely and effective manner, employing relevant risk assessment standards or assessment criteria.
  • Maintain the audit process rigor and technical integrity to meet internal and external accreditation requirements.
  • Interface directly with clients to ensure compliance to international standards.
  • Work on complex third-party audits that require considerable judgment.
  • Develop audit plans and coordinate audit dates with clients and SAI operations.
  • Complete audit reports and conduct follow-up activities when required.
  • Interface with SAI Senior Auditors, Client Relation Managers, and Operations.
  • Contribute to the development and achievement of SAI Global Assurance Services' strategic vision.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree from a four-year College or University or equivalent education.
  • RAB/IRCA Lead Auditor certification.
  • Extensive full-time experience in the field of Quality, Occupational Health & Safety, and Environmental Management Systems.
  • Experience conducting third-party audits.
  • In-depth experience across a broad range of industries, such as Construction, manufacturing, Engineering, and Health Services.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to deal with all levels of a business.
  • Ability to write reports effectively, present information, and respond to questions from clients.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to work effectively in audit teams and manage individual audits with minimal supervision.
