We are seeking a Certified Fire Safety Auditor to join our team at Chubb Fire & Security Australia.

Role Overview

  • Positioned in Rydalemere
  • Reports directly to the Certification Manager
  • Travel required within Sydney and select regional areas
  • Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with established performance standards
  • Audit contractor maintenance documentation
  • Generate comprehensive reports for clients
  • Perform System Interface Testing in collaboration with contractors or consultants
  • Carry out inspections and compile compliance documentation
  • When necessary, execute NCC Building Code of Australia compliance evaluations.

Candidate Profile

  • Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
  • Demonstrated experience as a Safety Measures/ESP auditor, Building Inspector, or in a related field within commercial and industrial settings
  • Strong knowledge of NCC, BCA, AS 1851, and pertinent Australian Standards
  • Ability to assess and mitigate risks associated with buildings
  • Detail-oriented with the capability to produce high-quality reports efficiently
  • Proficient in conducting inspections independently
  • Comfortable with digital technologies
  • Possess a valid Australian Driver's License
  • Currently pursuing or completed qualifications through the FPAS Accreditation Scheme (Common Units Course / Diploma)
  • Preferred accreditation to endorse all Essential Fire Safety Measures
