Tax Advisory Professional

As a Tax Advisory Professional, you will be working with top companies to assist them in implementing their commercial objectives. You will provide expert tax guidance and help resolve disputes through various means.

The role involves representing clients in tax advisory work, resolving disputes, and providing technically sound advice on tax issues. You will collaborate closely with other practice groups across the firm to deliver seamless advice and specialist transactional support.

  • You will represent many of Australia's and the world's top companies in tax advisory work and dispute resolution.
  • You will provide technically sound and commercially informed advice on tax issues that are relevant to transactions and projects for clients.
  • You will collaborate closely with other practice groups across the firm to deliver seamless advice and specialist transactional support.

The ideal candidate will have experience in tax, preferably at a large law firm or firm with a recognised specialist tax practice. They will have been regularly exposed to clients and provided advice both autonomously and as part of a team.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in tax, preferably at a large law firm or firm with a recognised specialist tax practice.
  • Experience in advisory and transactional work and/or tax controversy (including audits, objections and litigation).
  • A strong ability to work independently and effectively manage smaller matters and elements of larger matters.
