Your key responsibilities will include managing and processing claims for injured workers who are claiming reimbursement and cost coverage of various types of medical expenses. You will also review, monitor, and approve requests from your injured workers for medical/surgical treatment, ensuring that they receive the best possible care and support throughout their recovery journey.
Our ideal candidate will have previous experience in a customer service-based role, particularly in fields such as employment services, rehabilitation, mental health, social work, or health & safety. They will possess strong telephone-based conversational/communication skills, administrative skills, and the ability to learn and use systems/databases. A tertiary study within the disciplines of allied health, psychology, social work, or similar would be beneficial but not essential.
