Job Overview:

The Sanctions Analytics team is responsible for maintaining and enhancing the Group's Sanctions systems. Our work involves continuous monitoring of the detection system, ensuring it remains up-to-date with emerging trends.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring detection systems are current with evolving risk landscapes.
  • Collaborating on projects to provide requirements and assist with testing and change management activities.
  • Making ongoing improvements to detection systems by designing optimization and detection rules.
Requirements:

Candidates should possess prior experience in a similar role within Banking or Financial Services. Proficiency in SQL or SAS programming is essential, as well as statistical skills such as R, Python, and visualization tools like Tableau.

Tertiary qualifications in a numerate discipline or relevant industry experience are also required.

Experience or knowledge in Sanctions or other Financial Crime areas, including Payment platforms, is highly desirable.
