As a senior analyst in financial crime compliance, you will play a key role in ensuring our detection systems are kept up to date with the latest emerging trends. Your primary objective will be to minimize alert rates while maintaining zero risks through implemented changes.

Your responsibilities will include identifying and implementing continuous improvement opportunities and communicating any operational impact effectively to stakeholders.

You will also be required to regularly engage with projects to provide requirements and assist with testing and change management activities.

The Sanctions, PEP and TF Detection team sits under Financial Crime Compliance Detection in Risk Management. The team is responsible for maintaining and enhancing the Group's Sanctions systems by way of continual monitoring and optimisation of the Group's detection system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize detection system performance
  • Analyze financial crime data to identify emerging trends and develop effective detection rules
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to drive engagement and ensure solution delivery meets business needs
  • Maintain effective working relationships within Group Operations, Technology and Risk Management
  • Understand customer priorities and demonstrate value add
  • Provide project documentation and ensure governance and audit standards are met
