Job Opportunity: Conduct Sanctions Screening and Due Diligence

This role involves working as part of a team to identify potential sanctions concerns and conduct reviews to eliminate these risks. Key responsibilities include receiving and reviewing escalated alerts, liaising with stakeholders, and responding to questions from business units.

To be successful in this position, you will need to possess excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, the ability to work autonomously, and strong attention to detail. Additionally, you should be able to manage multiple tasks within agreed timeframes and continuously look for improvements to systems and processes.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Receive and review escalated Sanctions alerts (In system and Manual Alerts)
  • Liaise with various stakeholders including Business Units, Relationship Managers and/or Customers to obtain information required to complete the due diligence assessment
  • Respond to questions from Business Units in relations to Sanctions operational matters
  • Review, acknowledge and comply with all policy and procedures
  • Consistently maintaining and updating Sanctions knowledge and frameworks in relation to our policies
