About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Workforce Planning & Development Manager to join our People & Culture team at Melbourne & Olympic Parks. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the planning, leadership, development, and effectiveness of our event delivery workforce.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and whole-of-workforce development for the Event Workforce (~800 casual employees) in collaboration with organisational leaders (venue, events, and precinct operations teams) to ensure that the Event Workforce are aligned, engaged, and delivering to world-class standards.
  • In partnership with the Organisational Capability team, develop and implement a fit-for-purpose performance and capability framework for the Event Workforce.
  • Lead the development and implementation of the workforce planning strategy for M&OP's event workforce, which is aligned to M&OP's strategic plan and business objectives.
  • Oversee the scheduling processes for the event workforce, ensuring our recently transformed technology solution delivers our needs and is embedded successfully in day-to-day processes.
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of a best-in-class People Experience Strategy that focuses on attraction and retention of a world-class team.
