Transportation Assistant Job

We are seeking a reliable and caring Transportation Assistant to join our team in Canberra.

The successful candidate will provide weekday transport services for Residents, including outings, appointments, grocery shopping and transportation throughout the village.

  • Conduct weekday transport services for Residents
  • Maintain presentation and cleanliness of transport vehicles
  • Develop strong relationships with Residents, families and colleagues
  • Demonstrate empathy and understanding when interacting with older people
  • Adhere to safe driving practices and maintain a good driving record

Requirements:

  • Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent qualification
  • Recent acceptable driving history record with a Full Class C licence
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Punctual and reliable with a strong commitment to teamwork
