Our park serves a diverse clientele, including long-term residents, workers, and tourists, providing a central base with convenient access to Canberra's attractions.
The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Manager to lead Southside Village/Park – a diverse and multi-faceted property.

This leadership position demands a dynamic, adaptable professional capable of financial performance, team management, operational excellence and achieving continuous improvements.
The role is crucial in ensuring responsible management and fostering alignment with Hampshire Property Group's values and culture. You will be supported by a committed onsite team, an Operations Manager and remote corporate structure.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Inspire and manage diverse employees to deliver excellent service, compliance and maintain appropriate standards.
- Financial Ownership: Manage budgets, control costs, through effective rostering and proactive resource and procurement management.
- Occupancy and Revenue Management: Efficiently manage bookings to maximize occupancy and revenue, adhering to company policies.
- Operational Management: Lead the day-to-day operations with the support of an Assistant Manager, including guest services, maintenance, and housekeeping, ensuring proactive commitment and compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Guest/ Resident Relations: Foster a harmonious and professional environment, addressing guest and resident inquiries calmly and promptly.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Hampshire Property Group's senior management team and Property Manager to align park operations with company objectives.
Who We're Looking For
- Experience: Proven background in similar leadership roles within hospitality, tourism, or multi-faceted property management.
- Financial Acumen: Interpretation and understanding of financial data. Insights and experience in budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting.
- Business Acumen: understand business issues and trends and how to adapt and remain flexible. Understanding of revenue optimisation.
- Leadership Skills: Ability to lead and develop a team, fostering a positive and cohesive work culture.
- Operational Knowledge: Strong understanding of operations, including booking systems, compliance, and maintenance and the external environment.
- Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Problem-Solving: A proactive and resourceful approach to identifying and resolving challenges.
- De-escalation/ conflict resolution: Resilience and ability to remain calm in heightened situations.
Qualifications
- Qualification in leadership or management or similar work experience in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Current drivers license, National Police Check and First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
