Regulatory Engagement Specialist

Your impact begins with this role.

This key position involves close collaboration with our Regulatory Engagement function to drive outcomes that shape the business and support members. You'll join a high-performing team and work across the organisation to develop best practices in complex, regulated environments.

The Regulatory Engagement Partner reports directly to the General Manager Regulatory Engagement and provides expert technical support, guidance and advice to various teams. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing in-depth advice and technical support on regulatory engagement and expectations
  • Championing ongoing improvement in how we engage with and respond to regulators
  • Offering thought leadership and leading practice to build regulatory resilience across the organisation
  • Supporting strategic communications and reporting to stakeholders on regulatory developments and emerging risks

As a dedicated and experienced regulatory engagement professional, you have expertise working with a regulatory body that oversees financial services and/or superannuation. Your experience has shown that you can interpret legislative and regulatory requirements into simplified language. You excel at navigating complexity, possess excellent communication skills, and are known for building trust and influencing outcomes.

You hold tertiary qualifications or significant experience in a related field such as business, finance, law, risk management or a similar discipline. Your understanding of relevant legislation, standards and regulatory obligations related to the superannuation industry is essential.
