Senior Regulatory Engagement Lead

This role presents a unique opportunity to spearhead engagement with the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA) and ensure external regulatory relationships are supported by relevant subject matter expertise.

You will be responsible for working on a broad range of diverse issues that are crucial to Australia's financial system, staying informed of industry developments and monitoring external regulatory changes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead external engagements with domestic and international counterparts and government agencies.
  • Contribute to APRA's Parliamentary processes and support public appearances by senior executives.
  • Develop and implement external stakeholder strategies that support APRA's strategic priorities and manage risk to APRA's reputation.
  • Collaborate with teams across APRA to deliver outcomes and engage subject matter experts.

  • Proactively identify key developments, challenges and opportunities in APRA's external operating environment.
  • Able to synthesise complex information on a range of topics and enjoy working in a fast-paced dynamic environment.

To be considered for this role, you must be an Australian citizen with eligibility to gain a Baseline Security clearance through the Australian Government Security Vetting Agency.
