Job Description

The Senior Technical Consultant plays a critical role in delivering advanced technical expertise and strategic guidance to clients.

  • Provide expert technical support and guidance to users and stakeholders, resolving complex issues across hardware, software, network, and multi-platform environments.
  • Engage in project-based activities focused on providing consultative services.
  • Act as a senior escalation point for high-impact or priority incidents, assessing severity, coordinating with internal teams or external vendors, and driving effective resolution.
  • Mentor and support junior engineers, offering technical direction and aligning their efforts with best practices and service delivery goals.
  • Promote and maintain a culture of knowledge sharing by creating, reviewing, and improving technical documentation to enhance service quality.
  • Accurately record support activities and time in relevant systems to support client reporting, resource planning, and profitability tracking.
  • Identify and lead opportunities for continuous improvement across support processes, collaborating with stakeholders to streamline, automate, or optimize service delivery.
  • Develop strong relationships with vendors and third-party providers to manage escalations and resolve infrastructure or application issues outside internal control.

As a Senior Technical Consultant, you will require:

  • Expertise in resolving complex technical issues across various hardware, software, network, and multi-platform environments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with users, stakeholders, and internal/external teams.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines while maintaining a high level of quality.
  • Proficiency in operating systems, networks, and applications, with a willingness to learn new technologies and tools.
  • Strong mentoring and coaching skills, with the ability to develop and guide junior engineers.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and principles, with the ability to apply them in a real-world setting.
