We are seeking a skilled Midwifery Specialist to join our team at Greenstaff Medical Australia in Regional, New South Wales.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated and passionate midwife to deliver high-quality care to expectant mothers and their families. As a Midwifery Specialist, you will be responsible for providing antenatal, birth suite, postnatal, SCN, and NICU care, as well as supporting new mothers with breastfeeding and newborn care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide professional midwifery care to pregnant women and their families throughout the pregnancy journey
  • Collaborate with obstetricians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Conduct routine antenatal check-ups and provide education on healthy pregnancy and childbirth
  • Assist with births and provide postnatal care to new mothers and babies
  • Support new mothers with breastfeeding and newborn care, including handling any issues or complications that may arise
Requirements
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience as a registered midwife in Australia
  • AHPRA registration
  • Valid working rights in Australia with experience in antenatal, birth suite, postnatal, SCN, and NICU care
  • Certificates in Neo-Natal Resuscitation, Fetal Monitoring (CTG), and Obstetric Emergency Training
  • A valid flu vaccination and a documented history of COVID vaccinations
