We are seeking a Support Worker to join our team, providing person-centered support in the community.

  • Mentor and skill-develop customers to explore their interests and hobbies.
  • Coach independent living skills such as cooking, domestic, and social skills.
  • Administer medication and follow individual support plans.
  • Record clear handover notes and incident reports.
  • Provide personal care when required.
  • Help customers engage with local communities through Community Participation Programs and recreational activities.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Flexibility to work short shifts (2-5 hours) including mornings, afternoons, and occasional weekends.
  • Effective communication skills for interacting with verbal and non-verbal customers.
  • A current driver's license and access to an insured vehicle for customer transportation (if required).
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or willingness to obtain.
  • Current First Aid Certificate (HLTAID003) or willingness to obtain.
  • Formal qualifications in Disability, Community Services, or similar (advantageous).
