We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our team as a Customer Service Coordinator in Hastings.
About the Role:
- This position is responsible for assisting the Service Manager in maintaining accurate and on-time reports and records relative to the Service Department's operation.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Fielding internal and external customer inquiries to the Service Department
- Opening work orders as directed by the Service Manager/Shop Foreman and maintaining control until they are closed and invoiced
- Maintaining Service Department filing and records
- Updating customer profiles using equipment, hours, or other information from the customer work orders
- Preparing Service Technician efficiency reports
- Processing warranty and/or product improvement claims including computation of charges, submission, and follow-up
About You:
- Knowledge of office procedures
- General understanding of mechanical/technical terms is preferred but not essential
- Experience with and ability to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions
- Year 12 completion or relevant experience desirable
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritise
- A collaborative approach, adhering to company values
