Job Description

The Junior Transport Scheduler role at Busways Group involves working closely with the Scheduling Manager to efficiently manage workload and assist the team in compiling relative data.

Key responsibilities include learning and utilising transit scheduling software HASTUS to a high level of detail, executing structural changes to transit data and associated internal systems, ensuring up-to-date information is accessible by depots and drivers.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for manipulating and deriving transit scheduling information relative to adjacent departments for purposes of planning, route and trip analysis, tenders, submissions and proposals.

Analytical skills are essential in this role, as you will be required to assess the performance of actual and scheduled data to evaluate and influence change and promote high-quality service delivery.

What We're Looking for in the Successful Candidate

School leavers/graduates are encouraged to apply for this role. Prior experience is not essential, but a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and strong analytical skills are highly valued.

You will need to possess strong levels of logical reasoning, a love of IT, and the ability to work under pressure, multi-task, and prioritise workload to meet deadlines.

Australian/NZ PR/Citizen status is required.

$60,000-$70,000 per annum (depending on experience)
