About the Role
We are seeking a Trust Accountant to join our stable and supportive finance team. As a Trust Accountant, you will be responsible for managing trust accounts, performing bank reconciliations, and handling all accounts receivable and payable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage trust accounts, ensuring accurate and timely processing of transactions;
- Bank reconciliations, trust receipts/payments, and other financial duties;
- Handle all accounts receivable and payable, including creditor payments and petty cash management;
- Preparation of Receipts & Expenditure statements and end-of-month rollovers;
- Data entry and management using accounting software such as Xero and MYOB.
Requirements
- Previous experience in trust account management is highly valued;
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field is preferred;
- Knowledge of accounting software, including Xero and MYOB;
- Excellent attention to detail and financial acumen;
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
